If possible try PCL or PS instead of UFR

PLC driver prints fine but UFR sucks, why is that?

plus i will still appreciate if any one know how to increase brightness from Service mode by playing with Developer /toner settings

There is option in service mode (COPIER > DISPLAY > DENS) Not recomended!
Did you try with gradation correction? Please post PG-10 test.

I think a PG Type 4 in Bk or Type 14 would tell a lot more about the gradation being correct or not...

IME UFR2 is always lighter than the PS Driver. If it really is too dark or darkened and there is a great OEM drum installed and an Undamaged HVT then I would be bringing it back to door specs, cleaning the patch reader and just starting over with a cleaned scanner. Clear IMG Reg too.
