Hello guys,am face with the error above and has failed to clear.I removed the ITB tried to re align it but error still re appears.Any clues welcome.
On close secrutiny,when i removed the ITB drive motor out it rotates for only for few seconds and stops.

The ITB motor has a disk and sensor. I had one that the color registration was off and color copies were very blurry. I brought my boss and we did not find anything. Went back one day and took the cover off the sensor of the ITB motor and it was covered in white dust. Cleaned the sensor and wheel and it started working and have not seen that customer in months. I went there about 5 times for that. Those ITB belt units usually don't give issues like the 5xxx series. I had never cleaned that sensor before and I have/had a lot of machines like that. The book refers to the belt sensor and steering (belt not centered). You could also take the belt off and inspect stuff.

Thanks Zoraldino,i cleaned the drive rollers,but could not locate the white mark you talked about,did ITB INIT ,but problem still persists.More ideas pse welcome.

The white mark, patch, is on the inside of the itb belt. It does become soiled over time, inspect, clean if necessary, or replace belt. When you reinstall the belt the patch should be at the top.

Hello guys after a marathon struggle,cleaned all sensors and rollers,the error was cleared.
However,the ITB belt keeps on swifting after a few copies and the error re occours,how do i stop this occarance.
