    iR Advance C7260 Error 1093

    Hi Everyone,

First post for me, I hope someone can help.

I have a C7260 with an L1 Booklet Finisher, when I try to make a booklet with saddle stitching, the paper goes straight through the finisher and jams, I know it should be making a curce down when it enters the finisher, but it is not, I checked the error code and it list it as 1093, can someone please help, thank you

    Nathan

Hi. Have you checked the paperguides at the entrance? can get stuck from not beeing used for a while or damage to the metal cover

Jam code 1093 is a DELAY jam. Check the Saddle inlet sensor S201. If the sensor isn't seeing the paper, that jam code will happen. Start there, and work your way backwards checking for obstructions in the paper path, dirty feed rollers, etc.

Are you saying it goes towards the regular finisher tray.
That means the deflector to guide it down to the booklet maker is stuck, spring fell off , or solenoid not working.

Thank you so much, this was the problem, I opened the back of the finisher and the seleniod had the white lever locked in the down position, I lifted it slightly and it popped back up into place, it is working perfect now
