Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself
I blame "Warning Labels"!!
They've succeeded in circumventing Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection, and allowed stupid people to breed.... and vote!
Seriously... If you don't KNOW you're not supposed to use an electric dryer in the bathtub or the shower, without a warning label on the device... then you don't need to be in the Gene Pool anymore!!
....sorry.... rough morning!
Agreed, i've seen my share of fucked-up people too, but i tend to ingore them without warning. Don't feel like spending any energy on 'em.. But again, his msg sounded sincere to me... As I said, not everybody is an expert and not everybody has as much experience as you have (count me out, I haven't done hundreds of copiers either )
Unknowing and stupid isn't the same...
Johan
Agreed ! I kinda started to hate equipment from the USA or 'labeled' for use in the USA because of that...
In my rearview mirror: "objects in (the) mirror are closer than they appear"
On my tomtom (it's an f'ing DUTCH company) navigation each time i start I get a Legal Notic telling me to not blindly follow it's instructions but actualy look at the road (?!?).
If you treat ppl as stupid, they will act like their stupid...
In Holland if you have been warned once it's your own responsebility after that...
Looks like we ARE hijacking this thread, sorry
Johan
I wish you luck !
2380i is over 8 years old, here in Holland it's quite impossible to get parts for it.
you might try and buy an old extra 2380i for close to nothing, it's save you the hassle of looking for spareparts in the future.
Johan
If you would like to help i would greatly appreciate that and even pay if the solution is found. If not please don't hijack the thread.
I bought this machine and bought alot of parts for it and it has cost me more than it should and yet canon is not interested in sending a service guy. so i really want to figure it out and fix it. Please.
The disk spins up and works fine. i was able to ghost it. but i what i am thinking is if the disk is disconnected it should boot up with an error message that says the hdd is disconnected right? that is not happening.
Did you just create a new account just to ask the same questions you allready asked ?
Doesn't really help in showing you're sincere, does it ?
Johan
