Hi teckat;
I have issue with ir7105 gives black copy while working and if paper jam happens tit start working normally after releasing jammed paper .I have replaced the main charging unit from working m/c but this fault appears three or four time a day. i suspect the H. V. T. PCB ASSEMBLY but it takes three to four days to have new one any idea ?
NOTE the M/C is working in perfect way between the faults

BUT Canon says it is the same M/C even service manual says that

Canon IR7105 light copy

More is explained in the service manual. Check your lamp and laser numbers. You can also check if you have one of the faulty lasers by serial number. There was a tech pub about that but the problem showed itself as light copy quality. Not black out.

Disconnect accessories. I had a 7105 not come to ready before because staple cartridge was in wrong. I've had cleaner blade vibration motors short on these and freeze or kill them machine. And the touch sheets get flakey after while on these
