IC D1550 Stalls when scanning from document feeder.

When scanning from D1550 to computer, it will feed 1st copy through doc feeder but the second copy will go in and stop- the D1550 "Processing" light will be blinking- the computer will show in a small window "Scanning" with a green bar 1/2 way- and it just stays like that.

I have to shut D1550, remove the paper in doc feeder- then restart d1550.

If I scan from the computer (which takes a bit of doing) ex. from start menu- Printers- right click d1550- properties- Start scan. It will scan all the pages.

Couldn't figure out how to put a short cut on desk top for scanner so customer not happy.

    Summary:
Using D1550 operation panel to scan to computer- will not scan multiple pages.

Using computer to scan will work but requires to much manipulation.

    Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

I didn't check for firmware update. I'll have to check what Canon has and what the machine has and try it.
