Canon IR C2230 Advanced ( jams )

Have a IRC2230 that jams paper coming out of #3 cassette that then jams at the #1 tray separation assembly .Paper bumps into the bottom of that plastic piece .I changed out separation assembly and it worked better , but it still jams. Hope someone has seen this before.

what is the jam code you are getting ?

Does it jam when using tray 4? Try running 11x17 through tray 3, if it still jams swap pick up assembly 3/4 and see if the jam code stays the same or follows the pick up assembly. If it follows the pick up assembly I would order that. If the jam remains the same you will have to do some more checking. Gotta start somewhere........
