Finisher-E1 not collating and stapling correctly
I am working on this Canon IR Adv 6075 staple finisher-E1. The paper doesn't stack properly. The first few paper goes to stack processing tray but then the succeeding paper doesn't go down to the processing tray. This causes misalignmet and stapling failure. There is no error code and no jam as paper comes out. In a 10 page document sometimes only 2 sheets are stapled. I have adjusted the alignment. But still the same. I really need help on this. Thanks.

Re: Finisher-E1 not collating and stapling correctly
Sounds like you need new rollers but you can adjust the swing arm in service SORTER>ADJUST>SW-UP-RL.
I think increasing this value would help you out

What about the air humidity? too dry = static charge of the paper.

Re: Finisher-E1 not collating and stapling correctly
A few issues with some of these "advanced" finishers. They come default with a increase in production but a decrease in efficiency, so we have been turning the buffer operation off for these kind of issues. Helps greatly, go to sorter in service mode and scroll through Function. There are a few related service mode settings where you can increase stacking efficiency by turning buffer functions off. Have done this at a couple high volume accounts that demand stapling and other finishing functions. They haven't noticed the decrease in run time, much happier with the improved finishing function. Check through the I function in service mode or snag a manual, I can't recall these setting off hand.

Increasing the value of SORTER>ADJUST>SW-UP-RL fixed the problem. I believe rollers need to be changed. Thank you again.
