    NP6221 blank copies

    Is this a transfer corona unit issue? SEeing as how I had the corona out a few minutes before and was cleaning it

    Quite possble. Did you let any liquid cleaner seep between the block & housing?

    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

    I dont know about seep - I had a cloth which may have been a little damp.

    It doesn't take much liquid to shirt out the transfer unit. If you remove the blocks you can usually see the tell-tale signs of arcing. The white ashy appearance, the black burned tracks on the blocks.

    Just to diagnose the problem, remove the transfer wire, or the whole transfer unit, then see if the latent image is well developed.
