My canon ir 400i has poor fixing after replacement of fuser film. I suspect the grease I applied on the element is not compatible with (metal fuser films).the grease burns out and does not allow the fuser film to rotate
Anybody knows which ( grease is best for metal fuser films) your suggestions are welcome .thank you all

if you bought JUST the film.. it SHOULD have come with a lil packet of white grease. use all of it ..spreading over the metal n head. did you replace the rubber 'gear' on pressure roller? new bushings? what about the drive gears?Originally Posted by dk oneal

agreed BC... I caught some of my 'rebuild' guys trying to 'save money' and we ended up replacing them far too soon.

It's what comes with Precision Roller replacement sleeves. It's kind of expensive ... I think it was $65 for a syringe... here you go:

Thanks bro ..the rubber 'gear and the bushings are ok .I think grease in the pack that comes with the sleeve is not enough .I think I need to try uniflor grease Blackcat talked about . Am a tech from west africa (ghana ) I need buy one .thanks so for your help
