C5235i Duplex Noise

Hi all,

Having an issue with this machine, when printing duplex i'm getting a sound of gears slipping. I've refurbished the fixing unit and cant work out what part is making the noise.

Remove the 2/3 delivery unit. Check if it is a belt drive slipping. Sometimes a shaft pops out and sometimes you can not tell. But with it out you can turn the roller and see the belt slipping on a gear. I usually take one out of a used machine and swap.
