i know this is a canon forum
i have a sharp mxfn20 it is the same mechanically as a j1 canon. has anyone found a parts breakdown for the staple cartridge holder "main /corner " stapler? i want to find a part number for the staple empty detect flag.

Not a part with a number. You have to order the cartridge. I keep one in my car stock. I do not know how they knock that part out. It can be easy to replace staples if you know what you are doing but challenging if not. I suspect they try to replace staples when there are a one or two sheets left.
