I'm trying to turn off the TX report for outgoing faxes,while leaving the TX report on. I've tried several times. I can only get either both on or both off.
What report do you want? Your question isn’t clear. You have the option to have a report every time you send any document (email, fax) or just report for faxes going out.

if you look in the USERS GUIDE it should explain the fix.
I looked in the following GUIDES :Setup Guide, Basic Operations Guide and Before Using This Machine. There was nothing in there that relates to TX or RX reports. I looked on GOOGLE to see if there was any other Guides but none were available ,I also looked on the Canon website. If you can tell me where to get the correct Guide I would appreciate. Thank's for responding
You can find it under Settings Registration > Function > Send > Fax > Fax Tx Report > turn ON with image. Turn off reports under Settings Registration > Function > Send > Common Settings > Tx Report & Communication Management Report.
