    Canon IR 3300 Mirror Pulley Replacement

    The part that broke on this IR 3300 is the scan pulley for the mirror ass'y... part number FB5-5226-000.

    I can't find the part anywhere and don't even have a parts machine to pull it from. The local Canon dealer said they've never ordered the part, and that is hard to believe since I've seen these break on other machines. Does anybody have an idea on how I can get this part? It's a double pulley for the rear cable (although the front and back are the same part). Any help will be much appreciated.

    I'd be very surprised if one of our Canon guys didn't have a parts donor in the graveyard. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
