    Canon Meter Counter Clarification

    Dear Friends and experts,

I have a Canon C5235i, when printing a document in the sequence:-

Page 1, Full Page Colour Photo
    Page 2, Black Text
    Page 3, Black Text

    Current Counter behaviour
    Black Counter + 3
    Colour Counter + 1

    Customer is expecting
    Black Counter + 2
    Colour Counter + 1

Can someone help on this ?
I will really appreciate your guidance.

Black is needed to produce a full color page too, (mixture of Magenta, Cyan, Yellow AND black).
I think thats the reason why.

You can set the machine to display the counter(s) of your choice in service mode.

So you can just set 101 Total counter to display (default)

    Or say 109 m/w & 124 colour

    Hi,
To help you out,you should post more details about the counters and the page format of the prints.(A4,A4R,A3,letter etc...)

For the counters, send a picture of the counters that are set.

These are the counters that we actually set to display on all of our Canon MFP.

    112,113,122,123,101,102,501

    Regards

    Re: Canon Meter Counter Clarification

After seeing all those counters it makes me long for the old days. 1 page = 1 click.

Thanks for the post, I will see if I can use this info in the future.
