    iR ADV 6275 Remote log in

    Please help me!

    I remote logged into my Canon iR ADV 6275 this morning and unchecked the box that says "Enable Dept ID Management" (in Settings/Registation>User Management>Department ID Management>Settings...) and somehow now I cannot remote log into the printer.

    I don't know what the heck I did but now I can't log into my machine via browser. For some reason it now says "System Manage Mode" instead of the usual Login page.

    What have I done and how do I correct this?

    what were you trying to do making that change?

    Have you tried enabling it on the printer, reboot, see if you can log in after?

    The screen on the machine had been changed (without my knowledge) to need Dept ID and PIN in order to access it. I was trying to change it back to the screen it had been set to for the last few years which is basically just the menu-type screen (from which you choose Secure Print option, then your print job and type in your PIN to print.)

    Not yet. I'm in a different building today and don't have physical access to it. If I get chance I'll take a drive over and see if that works.
