    8500 VS 7200

If you are looking for ppm then the 8500
but i have had more luck with the 7200 for some reason

If you want to print "hi-Volume" and by that I mean MILLIONS of prints per month and around the clock ...non stop ......In my experience ( 30 + years) ...absolutely nothing on this planet will ever come close in price ....performance....and quality to a Xerox...either a Docutech or a Docuprint....and I have worked for all the "Jap-Scrap" maufactures out there. So if you want to print mono....and do it right...find a third party service proveder...and smoke the competition

Couldn't agree more with this. But since the post is older and someone may benefit in the future, the digimasters and varioprints are very good.

Although there's more and more bargains out there for the docutech line since they came out with the nuvera crap.

I do like the 8500 for the small footprint...but for production...profit...price....and durability....in my opinion............Xerox rules.

I've heard through the years that if you belong to certain trade groups, printers' associations, or some copy shop franchises that they get competitive on the pricing too.
