    IR 1530 to light

    Hi I've asked this question before but cant seem to get an answer I have a customer with a ir1530 giving a lovely copy except its very very light does anyone know how to darken the image on auto exposure other than the user mode any help gratefully recieved thanks

    Hi, I know this may sound daft but check that toner save mode is off, also dev units have been a problem with these beastly machines. How light is it? Are we talking a bit light or very feint? How olds the drum and are you using original toner? You could also check the standard image quality is set to text. Good luck!!!

    agree with you about these machines I wish Ihadn't sold it the toner is now canon it was katun but that seemed to make no differance and I did vac out the katun it makes a passable if you set exposure to max dark in the user mode but of course you have no latitude for light originals the drums not new but its the third drum and makes no appreciable differance.the copys good its nota transfer error or anything is there really no way just to turn the wick down on the exposure
