IR A6575i III PAPER DECK FAILURE

I have just installed this Canon IR A6575i III. The funny thing is that cassette 1 & 2 can't lift papers while Cas 3 and Cas4 do.

I am just wondering if there could be any need of some activation, any help please!

The only thing I am aware of is the white guide on each paper deck. Needs to be set for ltr or A4, it will cause jamming, but should lift.

Remove the trays and see if the tray detect assemblies are mounted on the back wall. I’ve had them get knocked around and the parts were laying in drawer 3.

At installation, you have to move the pressure plates on the decks.

It's a v III in the description so I assumed it was new.

    Did Canon re-introduce this series?

They are still selling version III of the 6500 & 8500's. Is there a newer b&w model?
