Canon c2220i: lost network after firmware upgrade. Can’t upgrade from usb

Retried firmware update with now five sticks. All between 1 and 4 GB in FAT32
When I start the printer with 2 and 8 pressed I get the following message




Same message when I triy it over the service mode menu (Copier - Function and so on)


What is wrong here?

Canb you help me with that? As I do not know how to format the internal HDD of the printer. Also how to get the firmware onto the printer after formating.


How can SST find the printer without connection?

Do I need to press 1 and 7 on startup to get a message (FIXIP)?

hi everybody,

have problem with canon C2220i. Wanted to upgrade firmware and launched it from copier itself online, but seems there is older version of firmware on web by canon and I downgraded mine instead of upgrading. Now I lost network. I know that this is common problem related to PCB controller. I have newer controller on my machine (9), so it network works only with latest firmware. Since I don't have network anymore I tried to upgrade firmware with usb stick, however after getting machine into download mode I get following error:
"Standard partition update error"
and machine just reboots. Tried different usb sticks, but without success. Seems machine can’t recognize it on the usb stick. Firmware I try to load is the latest and only one available on canon portal for service technicians.
Would appreciate if you can help.

hello going back to the beginning, you say that the machine cannot recognize the network after having installed the firmware, can you send photos of how the network is configured in the printer, perhaps there is some option that has been disabled in the user mode. sometimes there are machines that have the ip address disabled

If the printer does not have a server, verify that this option is set to zero in the service mode.
