    Canon IRA C5235 PG-10 alignment

Canon IRA C5235 color copier, 320K, Magenta bar slides to one side in PG-10 test as the picture. It can not pass the Color Mismatch calibration. I did full gradation, changed the drum, the ITB belt, no result. I cleaned the patch sensor, even changed the patch sensor, it is still the same. I also took out, cleaned the Yellow and Magenta Laser Scanner, but it is still the same. Has anyone fixed this problem before? Please let me know, thanks.

Try swapping the lasers around see if the issues moves to another colour.

Check the alarms (copier-display-alarm2) and look them up in the service manual.

Run a series of pg5 pages of each individual color and look for deletions. There needs to be a full page solid image of each color or color registration alarms/problems may occur.

Good luck on this pesky problem

Reseat the drums. They might be slightly up out of pos.I have seen and fixed this before this way.
I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.

I did switch all drums. It didn't help. The only thing I didn't do is to change the carriage unit.
