Hi i check my hard disk using IDE cable in computer the hard disk is not detecting. So i planned to buy a new hard disk. if so. i want to install the firmware in the hard disk in my area i can not find IR8070 firmware. The machine contains 20GB HDD can i use 40GB HDD. if some one have the IR8070 firm ware please sent it. Tanks.

Hi tanks for the firmware the link u have sent to me is dead, pls sent it again. I receive another firmware but i have got error messages but i dont know how to rectify it.

first of all i copy all the files to the folder servtool and in SST i search for new firmware in the Servtool folder and register it. But Some firmwares are in red when i try to format my HDD i got Error message that i dont register the Firmware to format HDD. Also when i copy the firmware to machine some files are copied also the machine does not say turn off and on.

I have attach the screenshot of the SST.

pls go through it and help to install the firmware.
if the HDD is fault can i replace a 40GB HDD in the machine which has 20 GB.

Did you replace the HD?
You must format the HD first,if this a brand new HDD.
Make sure that when you are registrating firmware into SST that you are checking off what you need and what you don't need, like those foriegn language files. You must register, system,language,rui, this is a must otherwise you will run into problems. One more thing is there are chances when people email firmware! That it might end up becoming corrupted thru the process. A machine like yours should not be hard to find firmware, try ebay and get the CD rom, you will be better off.

Thanks For the Reply i did not replace the HDD. But i cannot format the HDD. i can only see the SDICT and TTS firmware to download in to the machine. Is there is problem in firmware or HDD. pls refer the screen shot i attached in my previous post.
