Yes they should be the same drum.
I try to fix the NP6545 drum into NP 6045 but don't know wheather it is working or not..... Does anyone here can tell me ?
Yes they should be the same drum.
Do i need the changed the bearing ? or just fix it like that.
When you take the drum out of the box you will see it is just the drum. It does not come with the flanges. Change the flanges and heater from the old drum.
i put in the drum and it came out loud explosion.....It is different..... How come you say that it is the same ??? One is 110volt and the other is 220volt.......
No, both machines are 110V. And the drum is not charged it is just an aluminum cylinder coated with a photo conductive material. The drum from Canon is the same part number for both machines. I can't see how changing the drum can do what you say. Did you by any chance pinch the heater blanket wire when you changed it over to the new drum? The Canon part number is 132-6A00-3AA
hi guys the drum of these machine are same. but the heater are two type 110 volts and 220 v but when you buy a new drum the heater is not included so you have to use the old one or buy a new heater, depends on the voltage of your machine.![]()
there is no glory without sacrifice
You're right smiley it can come in 220v, but I told him to transfer the heater and flanges from the old one. Tell me something wilson, where did you get the drum? Did a friend ship it from another country complete with flanges and a heater?
i got a friend who work in canon company. His company will throw out some of the old machine from the store room every end of the year...so my job is to drive a small lorry and pick the items. But as far as i know ,,, some of the machine come with the transformer and it uses 110v..and some of the machine does not have the transformer and that is actually the 220v machine...
So if i took out the drum from the 110v machine and fix it into a 220 v machine.... do you think it will be working ??
If you took the drum out of a 220 and did not change the heater blanket you could have a problem. If you changed the heater blanket and the flanges from the old drum to the new drum you should be ok. Many of the parts are interchangeble between those machines, but if they are running on two different voltages you need to be careful what you use. The drum by itself (not assembled with the heater and flanges) should be ok. Did you use a heater from a different voltage? The only thing different on the drum assembly between the 115 and 220 voltage is the heater, otherwise it should not be a problem.
