Have you read the SST manual?

To put the copier into download mode you need to turn it on using main power switch and press 2 and 8. You should see download mode on the screen. I believe your copier supports Fixed IP mode, so a crossover cable should work.

yes.. i am doing exactly what you are saying but still not able to connect..
is it anything to do with os?
do i need to get another hdd?
I have also connected lpt parallel cable but v4.11e does not have bi-centronics option for download interface.

Can you put some more light on this. or if possible provide me with the manual.

Any more help would be appreciated.
