I would not install version 4.11 as i have bene informed it has a lot problems
Try getting a copy of 4.22
If your going to be doing any new devices like iR3245 onwards you will need the newer version the 3.35
The New I.R. advance will NOT work on anything less then 4.22

besides you need firmware along with the SST.
I think PDL downloader is what you need and not SST.
Are you trying to flash a printer board.

Today I had a case where a hard drive crashed in one of my IR2200,s here and had to do a quick fix with another type hard drive, I was using the updated version of SSt I thinks 3.35 and keep getting errors I had to then go back down to 3.11, it was a good thing I had a copy on file.

Any how with the help of mr Fixit I was able to solve the hard drive editing issue, again I say thanks to mrfixit.

Now I am in the process of converting all my machines here to network versions and I have approximately 25 of them of different models but I realize that some models does not work with 3.11version and having errors with 3.34.

I am now seeking the newest version to use and upgrade my machines.

As we are moving out the small HP, canon etc model printers as they are not cost effective.

any help is greatly appreciated.

I am not trying to flash a printer board, as I already should have a pdl downloader, (if I can find it), I have all of my upgrade kits with N Boot rom and hard drives, just having issues with installation on some models especially thye IRC3380, IRc3200, IR 3570 and IR4570.

I can use version 3.11 on ir 2200, 2230, 2270, and a few other models.
