How to reset ir1600

hello again, i am trying to reset the system error message e000, but with no sucess. It just beeps and the error message appears again.

As i recall you have to correct the problem, E000 is a fuser error so you have to repair or replace the fuser for the code to go away.good luck

Hi, i found this info in another post, you shoul dbe able to reset the code by going to service mode, (additional function > ID) scroll to #7 PRINTER > #4 PRINTER RESET > YES >*. OFF the machine and ON it again, if same problem then check the heater lamp.

now i know what to do when i am on the srvice mode, but how do i get there, what should i do to be in the service mode. please help me this is really urgent. thank you.

To reset E000, E0001, E0002 etc go into service mode, (additional function > ID) or * & the # key scroll to #7 PRINTER > #4 PRINTER RESET > YES >* Turn the copier OFF the and ON it again, if you still get the E error code you will need to replace the fixing unit.
