    clc 1000 strange problem

    Hi all

After replacing all the drums and starter for all colours the machine has a strange behaviour. When it prints a page the page is printed "dirty" with a yellow and black "powder" on it.
I cleaned the machine, i readjusted the starters but the problem persists.
The other two colours work fine
Please give me a hand to fix this because after paying more than 2600e the machine cannot print correct !

Run single color full page coverage test prints in each color. Is the black powder gritty...if so its the carrier from the dev housing. Check which color looks bad on the prints. Did you initialize the starters? Instead of init 4 i do them separately. You should be getting e020 errors if there is a problem with any color

    Hi my friend
I did as you said. I run a seperate init in the starters, all work fine except the Yellow it gives a E20 190 code. The Strange is that i replaced the salt sensor ( i had a spare one) initialized again but the E20 appeared again. The machine is clean inside i dont now what else to do ....

    e020

I used to work on these-It was quite common for an error when init-there should be a print out of factory values behind a cover on the door-try comparing the values for yellow-inputting door specs worked in the past-
I no longer have a manual-can't be more specific.

I found the solution. The problem was that the black toner was very rich (tow much toner) i unpluged the toner feed sensor and made 30 A3 copies solid black
The density of the black started droping because the machine printed with out using toner. After the pages where printed i repluged the sensor and recallibrated the black colour the problem was solved!!!!! I Did this to all colours and now i have a perfect resault to all colours
Try that to all canon CLSs it works !!
    Thanks for your time
