canon ir 1600 printing problem

Valid points about printer reset and clearing operation. I have PM'd you with some info that may help.

Printer reset:
Enter service mode>#7 Printer>#4 Printer Reset>Yes

Clear:
Enter service mode>#12 Clear>All
Warning: if this is a fax model, this will erase all address book info, and reset copier back to factory defaults for all other settings.
