How do I Calibrate a Canon 5180 w/ H1 ImagePass?

Hey there,

Does anyone know what needs to be done in order to Calibrate a Canon iRC5180 w/ H1 ImagePass?

1. What tools are needed and where can i get them?
2. What steps are taken?

We got this machine used and no documentation or "kit" came with it. I've been told that I need a Kodak Color Strip but i can't find where to get this.

Thanks for any and all info as always!

The kodak color strip come with the fiery. You must have this in order to calibrate. When you want to calibrate you have to go to the printer tab that's on the lcd. Hit that tab then hit printer status follow by the function tab and scroll. Look for calibration and follow the instruction that are given.

From Canon or a Canon authorized dealer.

The Calibration Sheet part number is FE1-4797-000 and includes:
  • Kodak Gray Scale
  • Kodak Color Control Patches
