Exclamation iRC2550 Auto Restart

Dear All,

Currently i faced this issue. Any solutions on it? I already changed Main Cont, LAN BAR PCB, Network cable and upgrade firmware.

This isssue happened suddenly. When i checked svc mode, i found E240.

When plug in network cable, m/c keep on restarting. If unplug network cable, m/c working fine.

Please advise on it as customer keep on chasing us...

Have you tried connecting to the coiper using your laptop and a crossover cable to eliminate any network issues they may have on there end? This would be the first thing to try.
I would like to add, I had to prove to a customer onetime it was thier router locking up a 3200 that they had. By bringing in my own router and proving it to them. The display would go dead. The onl way to get it to work again was to do an MMI clear.

had this happen on an IRC3480, turn OFF "multicast Discovery" in the network settings, this resolved our issue

What was the sub code on that E240?
Do you have any accessories connected, finisher, paper deck.
Check and reseat the bootrom and Dimms as well.
Last, DC controller.

Here is more detail info if you haven't check.

E240 ?
Error in communication of controller
0000

Error in communication data
0001

There is no response when 3 sec passed since the main controller had sent the pickup request to DC controller during printing.
0002

There is no response when 4 sec passed since the main controller had sent the request for image output to DC controller during printing.

Check connector, check connection of sub PCB in the controller box, check / replace DC controller PCB / main controller PCB
