The stackbypass slide guides wont read the paper size

When I try to put a 12x18 paper size on the stackbypass on a irc 3220 the printer hides the 12x18 option, and the paper is 12x18, i have to play with the slide guides and open them, even passing the 12x18 line so that it can accept the 12x18 paper size...

is there a way to adjust this slide guides ?

    thanks

What model is it. There are different sizes for different regions. Perhaps the stack bypass tray has inadvertently been set to use sizes from the wrong region.

its 12x18 inches so it has to be 12x18 doesnt it ? And the slide guides are at the 12x18 line, but it wont accept it at all.....I have to open them more

Both of these are in service mode...and I'm guessing that you if you weren't aware of the service mode adjustments then you aren't a tech.
Best to place a service call coz once you start messing with the CST adjustments you can spend a lot of time chasing your tail.
