what hdd's do you use in 3300

Just wondering what hdds people currently use for the IR3300. I know about modifying the HDFormat.ift file, just don't want to buy a drive that doesn't work with the modification.

Please only say drives work if you know they work personally or you have a trusted source that knows they work with the 3300, preferably with the relevant information to go with it in the ift file.

Not so good. Different copiers can have different accessories. Using a cheap drive where you can modify the ift file is best. It is important to be able to use SST.

Got any model numbers of Seagate drives readily available at the moment that work and which drive from the ift file it's similar to if it's not already in the list?

Drives should either be in the .ift file or work by modifying the list to accept it using the SST HDD Not found procedure uploaded by Oze elsewhere on this site. They should preferably be readily available new and be considered a drive that works well (i.e. unlikely to fail a few months after installing). I don't want to know about drives that haven't been sold new for years, refurbs are not a good idea in my opinion.
