    Canon IR C3200 error codes

We are getting two different error codes on this copier, and we are wondering what they are. These are the error codes: E000020-01b0 and E000020-0160. The majority of the time we are getting the E000020-01b0 which seems to come up after the copier warms up and we try to make a copy. The other error code, E000020-0160, came up after we turned the machine off and back on, and I believe it came up before the machine finished warming up. We downloaded a copier manual but it doesn't seem to list the code in the manual as it is listed on the copier display. We did get it to where it tried to make a pass a copy but stopped before it made it into the fuser section with no image on it. This only happened when we tried to make a black and white copy. Customer says they made a copy and had some copies on top of the copier, but I don't know if they were even made on this machine because I was never able to make a copy come out of the machine.
I was also wondering if the fuser unit can be rebuilt or is it something you have to replace as a whole? Any help appreciated, thank you.

The E020-01b0 has to deal with the Yellow toner supply. The other code has to do with the Black drum. But, first i would check the drum life of ALL the drums. If over life then i would start replacing those that are.Hopefully it wont go any further than that but you can always repost if that doesnt fix your issues.

Both codes refer to the yellow drum, that is the 01 portion of your E020 error code. The "B0" is more ominous than the "60" code and this is it's meaning: "The drum unit is approaching the end of its life and is causing the T/D ratio to drop. The ATR sensor has an open circuit."
As Kopyrtek mentioned, you should replace the Yellow drum, as this will probably resolve your immediate problem. But still check the life on the rest of the drums.
As to the fuser rebuilding, I did this a couple times very early in the 3200 lifecycle, and it is not an easy task as there are lots of plastic parts to work with, and they can easily be broken. I no longer rebuild them, just replace with factory remanufactured ones to save some cost.

The yellow drum is at the end of its life.Replace the yellow drum.
As for the fuser unit, don't even waste your time rebuilding
    just replace it.

i agree with screwtape. rebuilding the fuser is a long tedious process with this model. by the time you put parts and labor into it, you could have bought new

I rebuild them once then toss them....they're not that bad to rebuild..about 40 min to do upper and lower rolls and bearings....after about 200 k the exit actuator is warped and so is the upper frame
