If it can be done, then I'd like to convert my Chevette in to a Corvette.

    Hey, they're both "Vettes", right?

    Sheesh.

Thanks for all to reply my question

    Hi guys,
I have just asked a doubt.
Just think before laugh at me and starts to throw stones
    Do you know I have changed the speeds of IR 330 to 400, 2200 to 3300 Ricoh 1022 to 1027,Ricoh 1060 to 75, Ricoh 1090 to 1105, 2022 to 27, 2060 to 75.
I know that 3570 can be converted to 4570 but my question is wheather 2270 is a similar machine to 4570 or any difference is there.

    Yea, but.....why?

Okay, so you speed up the machines, and they need parts that much faster, and run dirtier.
You're not the field tech., are you?
Because if you were, you'd want to go round and SLOW DOWN all your copiers, so both you and your customer could be happier!!
And if they're in THAT MUCH OF A HURRY to see a copy job get done, why don't they buy a freakin 60ppm or faster behemoth??? Hmmm?????
Just seems wrong to me. It may have something to do with us all being technicians, and mostly field techs. and not remanners....not that I haven't done a ton of remanning!!

    Just my two cents.

    Re: IR 2270 to 4570

It cannot be done. Cause the fuser and the main motor for ir2270 is different from ir4570. The max speed for ir2270 can only be converted to ir2870. Only the ir3570 can be converted to ir4570.
