Post Canon iR2018 solid black copy troubles

Hello everybody,

I received a faulty canon ir2018, the problems were paper jams in the cassette unit and a solid black printing which came from time to time. I resolved the paper jams and then looked to the other issue which was the solid black copy, alas this one disappeared completely. Even after many printing tests there were no solid black copy at all.
It was once the copier returned to its owner that the solid black copy problem arose again.

I have read its service manual and found that the PCB and the Contact Sensor could be faulty.
The copier will return to my shop for further works meanwhile i think it is a good idea to ask to the community for some helps and advice on this issue, I would be glad to get some assistance.

Thanks and long life to the community.
