Hello everybody

I want to setup an IR3235 in my office

I was able to install scanning over network without problems :
iR got an IP on the network, I can Ping it, and I can "push" scans to my PC with Color Network ScanGear

BUT I'm freeze on printing !!!

I have tried PLC, UDF and PS drivers... no way !!!
My printing datas stay blocked on the PC

Anyone can help ?

Does it have a print boot rom? Is it a 3025 or 3025i? Only the i models have a print rom as standard.

Also if it does have a print boot rom, can you try printing using a laptop hooked up via crossover cable to the copier?

Hi Masters, thanks for reply !

even direct printing with crossover cable does not work

It's an 3235 not a 3235i

As i understand printing capacity is an option ...

On 3235, how do you check if the print boot rom option is installed ?

Go into service mode and check the version of the Boot-Rom. Should also check to see that firmware for printing e.g. PS/PCL is installed as well.

You'll need a tech to bring a print boot rom, install it and update the firmware using SST if you want to get printing to work if you don't have the boot-rom and/or the necessary firmware installed on the copier. So you'll need to decide whether this is worth the cost.

If you press the "123" key for the counters, then hit device configuration. You should see UFR and PCL in the options, if not you need a print kit - this is a MEAP application.

You should be using a UFR driver rather PS, PCL. Ufr is the standard driver, unless you require post script or PCl printing you need extra accessories to do so.

There's is no bootrom require because the program is activated with LMS.
