What is needed to print to my ImageRunner C3220? **PIC**

I just purchased a Canon C3220. I have AT&T DSL at the office and currently have my laptop and desktop connected to the internet. I am wanting to print to my new Canon C3220.

What is required to do that? Cable and software? If so, what kind of cable and where does it plug in?

Here is a pic of my unit...

    we need more info...

Does it have print capability? The picture is nice but is really not too helpful. Does the copier have an ethernet jack on it? You bought it from whom, did the previous owner give you any information about this copier, like if they were able to print to it? We can be more helpful if you give us more information.

NO prop...I know nothing about this printer...It was given to me by a friend who had it in his warehouse.

I did look at there IS an ethernet connection. Would I just go Ethernet out of the laptop to Ethernet on the copier?

    my first suggestion...

Warm up the copier, when ready to copy, press *Additional Functions button, select Report Settings, click on Network, print out User Data.
This will tell you what your current network settings are, listed on the report.

Hit the counter check button>hit device configuration, this will tell whether or not you have a printer kit installed. Another way to find out is, if you look at your control panel, at the top you would see, copy, mailbox, if you see a scan tab then you have a printer kit. If you go to additional functions>system settings>network settings>IP address and configure the machine with a IP address. You would need a crossover cable if you want to connect directly from a laptop. Since you have AT&T DSL, see if you can connect a patch cable(ethernet cable) to your AT&T DSL modem. If not, purchase a switch or a router set up a little network. It seems like its much to do but its very simple once you start setting it up. Email me that user data list at, Screwtape5185@yahoo.com.

The iRC3200 series came with and ethernet port to update firmware, just because the has an ethernet does not necessarily mean that it has a print kit, just as some have parallel and usb ports, again that does not mean that they have print kits. Pressing the counter check button does not always show if the unit has a print kit either, it used to nice when just techs were on the forums, now alot of endusers, either some of the techs posting replies are trying to confuse them even more or they just do not know the A** from a hole in the ground!!! just tell them to call someone who knows what they are doing, some of us actually are trained on the equipment. Just keep taking money out of our pockets, yet you are probably the first to bitch about the economy, and just remember you idiots elected him.
