Yes, it does,,, it used to be part of the driver install,, at least if you used the Canon driver installer method as opposed to the Windows "add printer" method that only goes out and gets the .inf files and such. That is why I carry the Canon installer software around only.

I am installing an IRC 2620 When I push Get Device Status, the system can not find the bottom two accessory trays, and when I attempt to print using an A3 sheet from the bottom tray, I get a red flashing light.

What do I need to do to install the accessory trays?

To follow up on what Iommanxman told you, in the driver properties under Device Settings, toward the bottom there is a button marked, Get Device Status. That button will force the PC to have a conversation with the copier, and upon successful completion of that, all the "toys" will now be available to the driver, such as finishers, paper decks, external trays, paper feed pedestals.
