IR-5570 "Low Web" message keeps returning
Hello everyone:
We rebuilt the fuser and seems to work well. Can run 500 2-sided (1000 prints) with no porblem, but when powering the machine down & back on, the "Low Web" indicator comes on.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?
Thanks for any support in advance.
Claudio
Have a great long coming weekend.

Low web is the cleaning roll that cleans the fuser roll
it is going to run out soon
it usually has a take up reel and a you just replace the
roll
be sure about the flag sensor near the roll that lets you know the roll
is low.

When you rebuilt the fuser did you replace the web? Then did you reset web counter in service mode? I often shoot myself in the foot by forgetting to reset the counter when doing a visual inspection and replacing the web early.

Just in case. You need to reset the web count in two places. One is in Misc. web count (like waste toner). One is in the durables 1 that you clear when you replace the other fuser parts. I know it is not called durables! You must know what I mean though! Good luck!

Thank you all for your help.
The fuser unit has been rebuilt so it has a new web.
Both counters have been reset.
Hytec suggests the DC Controller but they're not sure.

It seems it may have been solved.
Right after resetting the 2 counters, you need to power off & back on.
So far customer has not called back ( I hope it's a good thing ).
Thanks for all your help.
