Post Canon GP335 DADF Jams! Jam code 0084

I am having trouble repairing a DADF reoccuring jam!!

The jam code in service mode is 0084.

Paper is fed and then stops half on the glass and half in the feeder.

Please help!

First off, the 335 is probably similiar to our 330 here in the States, which feeder is being used, the A1 or B1?

The problem has been found to be a damaged wire harness to sensor S 6, delivery sensor 1. This sensor is on the upper cover of the DADF A1. The wire harness bends or folds every time the cover is opened. Typically the wire will break at the point where the wire bends.

The part number for the wire harness is FG2-3374-000, the part number to the sensor S 6 is WG8-5624-000.

--------------

If sensor S12 is blocked it will give the 0084 jam code. Small pieces of paper have been found blocking the sensor. The sensor flag can become gummed up and may not move freely also causing the problem.
