A simple question - iRC2620N !

Hi guys

I bought this printer without any manulas - and I am not very good in this type of printers - will be greate if you can explain me what is this ''box'' used for ( check the attachment please ) ?

When I bought it - it was very dificult to load in the van - so I took a screwdriver and separated the ''box'' from the printer body . Home I;ve checked the printer and it seems to me ok - without that ''box'' .

Just want to know what is the main function of that ''box'' - should I attach it again to the printer body ?

Sorry for such questions - but need an answer asap - and I haven't got any manuals of it - as I told already
Thank you
iurie

That's Paper deck-P1 with a capacity of 2,700 sheets. If you are running bulk of pages let's say 2,000 pages it is very useful. If you're contented with your 4 cassettes no need to attach.

unless you do very very high volume - it's bad, your paper will either dry out in summer or absorb moisture in winter either way as its 45 degree paper path just increases likely hood of jams...
