Canon CLC3200 C1 Printer Kit Problem

Hi all ,

This afternoon i went to set up a Canon CLC3200 with C1 Printer Kit.

After setting up all the connectors and cable..i boot the machine up.

then i start to face problems... after booting into the main interface i cant find the Arrow leading the the Configuration of the C1 Unit. No Arrow was there for me to press.

I have recheck the connection of the connector from the C1 unit to the Machine all was correct.

Once again I On the C1 first then waited for 3 minutes then On the machine still there is no Arrow icon for me to press for Network Settings.

Then i try to take off all the C1 related stuff try to config it using UFR..
it can ping,it can update the driver or get device info....but when i do a test page...the screen at the machine will show receiving and the green processing light will blink once then gone...it wont print out...i check from the print log all the data i send was there but the remark was NG.

Can someone help me with proper installation please

Thanks

Did you change the interface setting in service mode. If you installing the imagepass C1 you must do this.

If you try to set up a ufr driver you must have the printer kit installed.

These are two seperate printing options.

So you set INT_FCE in service mode to "0" yes?
For a Canon board this is the settting required.

Setting /configure the C1 is different from the normal Network printer.
I did configure a imagePASS D1 for iRC6800 few months ago, remenber you have to look for the word PRINTER in the additional function mode, hit it , then only you will be able to get into the settings of the printer.
If you are going to remove the C1, maybe you have to replaced the BootROM with the N, then only you can use the machine as a printer. You need a UFR Board so that you use the UFR printing.
