Canon C3200 Drum Units

Hi everybody,

I was wonderin if is possible to replace just the cilinder in a Canon Imagerunner C3200 instead of replacing the whole drum unit.
In case it is possible, where can I find the cilinders? are they compatible with another machine?
Thanks in advance for any help provided!

The drum in the unit is not the only thing that wears out in the unit. False economy to try changing out just the drum cylinder, when the developer may be ready to crap out soon after. It is far smarter to not go on the cheap on these things, as they could easily come back and bite ya. and your savings will be eaten up by poor customer satisfaction...

AND you won't be able to reset the drum life counter as the chip is on the drum unit itself....change the cylinder but the drum life will keep on creeping up.
AND you'd also have to change the primary charging roller...so I'm guessing the cost of a new cylinder+primary charging roller = price of a new drum unit.
