HD Format for new iR & iRC models

Has anyone cracked the encryption of the HD format or is there a list of compatible drives anywhere.Canon prices are a joke so a compatible drive would save a fortune.

There are many compatiable HDD But, the HD data file format is canon own. you need the HD file format and every machine has its own HD file format version.
