    Canon IR 400 b/b paper jamming

    this ir400 print - 1 side ok
    2 sided prints - paper jams after passing thru drum on back side print.
    checked transfer & replaced but the same problem
    any help please

    One sided ok, this mean m/c is ok. The cause for the jam is the curl of the paper after it passes thru the heater, then coming back for the double side. It is advisable that you change another brand of paper or heavier paper ( 80g ). If the jam still occur then you ask your client to use A4R paper, but first the auto orientation must be on.

    Try changing the duplex rubbers, it would have become hard !!!!

    Whenever a printer keeps jamming in the same way, even with ttwo completely different stacks of paper, from two completely different reams of paper, in the feed tray...
    ...it's nearly also a DIRTY paper path and DIRTY rubber rollers.
    It could also be a piece of paper from a previous jam lodged into the paper path somewhere... probably from someone just yanking it out, and then leaving behind a small piece.
    Printers are DELICATE and must be treated with respect
