check the error code, as screwtape mentioned bad drum, the error code will allow you to know which drum is bad.

I mean check the error history. It will show E00020-xxxx, it will allow you to know which drum you need to change.

Warming up

Check the dens value.
If one sticks out, you have find the problem cartridge.

The value should be quite low 0-2 i think if its over that change cartridge.
It could also be the toner cartridge drive assy.
But i doubt that its the pcb.

Hi All,
Thanks for all your reply. This symptom happened after I replace 4 new drum units two weeks so I dont think reason from drum.
Finally, I tried to clear MN-CON in menu FUNCTION>CLEAR and success.
Too lucky!!!

even though the drum units are new but sometime it can be defective. i once encountered a irc3380i with e025-003. found in the manual was the hopper assembly problem. i replaced the feed screw sensor and pizero sensor but the problem persisted. lastly i replaced the new black drum which i changed few days ago and wala! fixed.....the problem was the drum catridge feed screw didn't rotate and caused the feed screw sensor to turn CCW.
