    jamming

Hi there.I have a canon ir3035n giving intermittent jamming problems at the vertical transport section and also as the paper is exiting the fuser. The jam codes are 0108,0207.It happens from all trays.Have there been any mods for this problem?. I am also having similar jams on canon irc2880i.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked the cassette paper indicator? is it the corect paper size? if jammed at the fixing then try checking the fixing assembly may be problem at the fixing film.

Paper trays are set correctly and I have ordered a fuser but I am not convinced that it will rectify the problem.

Putting a wrap on the sensor arm springs on those machines have been known to help. I would wrap the ones just before and just after the fuser. I would also check the condition and operation of the flapper in the right side door assembly. Look for warping and chips or wear.

Also...this machine will tell you exactly what sensor is at fault by touching the screen while you're looking at the list of jam codes in service mode...which sensor is it telling you is at fault?

I appreciate all your helps folks so I replaced the fuser and the feed section for tray 1.I also applied some draft excluder to the guide that houses the idle rollers for tray 1 just to give it a little bit more grip when feeding the paper. So far so good.Once again, thanks for your help.
