Check the environmental sensor, AKA the potential control sensor that sits above the drum. You should aslo instead of rewiring replace the primary corona ass'y.

This problem is seems to mine. Machine iR5000 error 061- 0001. What I'm gonna do is i try to replace the whole unit where drum located and it works. Now i exchange one by one the parts and i know its just the sensor near the drum. Solve

Hi. I would do two things. If you didn't replace the drum cleaning blade when you replaced the drum do that. But also there is a mirror that needs to be cleaned. I believe its called the foldback mirror. Its between the laser and the drum. Remove all of the panels above the bypass tray and you will see an optics cooling fan. The mirror is located up behind there. Its hard to locate so it might help to find it in the manual first. No one ever cleans this mirror. When its dirty it will effectively lower the laser output. Most of the time primary charge and a new drum fixes that error but when it doesn't I clean this mirror. So far for me it's worked every time.
