Canon NP 7161 Error E-004

Hi therei have a canon NP 7161 has this Error E-004 message flashing when the power is turned on then goes off.It flashes together with the toner light i have already filled the toner.I am guessing that the machine went for long without toner.thus the message. If that is the problem then how does one reset it back to full functionality? Help?CheersSaint

You have a problem with the fuser.

I had a E-004 last month caused not by triac (as the manual said).
The problem was on HVB board (One diode in short and one resistor broken) . From this board you have connection to triac, and toner waste sensor.
