I think the problem stems from the code you mentined E069 !! solve that issue and i think the copy problem will go away ... fuser bias and or a dirty t/s assy check the lower fuser roller bearings that rust/dust migrates to the t/s assy frequently causes E069's when duplexing

No Andy, I think the problem stems from his inexperience with the machine. He cleaned it and the problem went away. He says when it gets humid he gets light areas. Now that doesn't mean you're wrong, but I think he needs to determine exactly what is happening when. If he is getting e-069 regardless of the weather he needs to tell us that. Troubleshooting and E-069 is a lot easier than guessing if it is paper/weather/machine. Collect, clarify and coomunicate. Understanding what is happening and clearly communicating the problem would go a long way in helping him.
